The IRA-S210ST01 leverages Murata’s advanced ceramic technology to provide a robust and sensitive pyroelectric infrared sensing element. It detects changes in infrared radiation caused by moving objects, making it ideal for passive infrared (PIR) motion detection applications. The sensor’s internal construction ensures high responsivity and stability.
Designed for long-term reliability, it features a 5-micrometer long-pass optical filter to focus on the relevant IR spectrum and reject unwanted noise. Its wide supply voltage compatibility allows for direct integration into both 3.3V and 5V logic systems, as well as higher-voltage industrial controls, without requiring a dedicated regulator.
