Senba SB312A PIR Sensor Module - Digital Output, 3-12V DC
The Senba SB312A is a compact digital PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor module designed for human body detection, compatible with 3.3V and 5V microcontroller systems like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. It provides a simple high/low digital output signal upon detecting motion within its 100° field of view.
Features
- Digital PIR sensor with integrated Fresnel lens for reliable motion detection.
- Wide operating voltage range from 3V to 12V DC for flexible system integration.
- Ultra-low quiescent current of ≤20µA for battery-powered applications.
- Provides a clean 3V high-level output signal; standby output is 0V.
- Compact PCB footprint measuring just 10mm x 8mm for space-constrained designs.

The SB312A module integrates a dual-element, low-noise pyroelectric infrared sensor with a Fresnel lens onto a single PCB, eliminating the need for external signal conditioning ICs. This digital design enhances signal stability and simplifies interfacing by outputting a direct TTL-compatible high/low signal upon detecting infrared radiation changes, typically caused by human motion.
Engineered for reliable performance, the module features configurable timing parameters including a 2.3-second output delay and a 2.3-second blockade time, supporting a repeatable trigger mode. Its robust construction ensures stable operation across an industrial temperature range of -20°C to +55°C, making it suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor environments.
