The LJ12A3-4-J/EZ / R12-4A1 is a shielded, tubular inductive proximity sensor that operates on the eddy-current principle. When a ferrous metal object enters its 4mm sensing field, it induces currents that alter the sensor’s internal oscillator, triggering a solid-state switch without physical contact.
