The BWSENSING IMU50 is a high-performance inertial measurement unit built around MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) technology. It precisely measures three axes of angular velocity via its gyroscope and three axes of linear acceleration via its accelerometer. The sensor incorporates sophisticated on-board signal processing, including a Kalman filter and multiple compensation algorithms for temperature and dynamic effects, to deliver stable and accurate motion data.
Housed in a rugged, anodized magnesium aluminum alloy enclosure rated IP67, the IMU50 is engineered to withstand demanding industrial conditions, including vibration, moisture, and extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. Its primary RS485 output interface ensures reliable, noise-immune communication over extended cable runs, making it suitable for integration into complex motion control and navigation systems.
