The RS-TBQ-N01-AL pyranometer operates on the thermoelectric principle, where incident solar radiation is absorbed by a black-coated thermopile, generating a microvolt-level signal proportional to irradiance. This signal is conditioned for stable output, suitable for long-term outdoor deployment. A desiccant-filled drying cartridge is integrated to prevent internal condensation and maintain measurement integrity under high humidity conditions.
Designed for professional meteorological and solar energy applications, the sensor’s wide operating temperature range and IP-rated housing (implied by environmental specs) ensure reliable performance in harsh climates. The standard Modbus-RTU protocol over RS485 allows for easy daisy-chaining and integration into SCADA systems, BMS, or custom data loggers.
