The camera requires a 5V power source, typically provided from a regulated BEC on your ESC or flight controller stack via the included JST 1.25mm cable. For remote control, connect the UART TX pad from your flight controller to the camera's signal wire. You can then map a switch in Betaflight to control recording start/stop, or use automatic modes like 'arm to record'.

The built-in gyroscope records high-frequency motion data (rate and acceleration) alongside the video file. This data is used by post-processing software like Gyroflow to apply extremely smooth, horizon-locked stabilization, correcting for high-frequency vibrations and prop wash that gimbal-based systems cannot. You simply load the recorded video into Gyroflow, and it automatically syncs and applies the stabilization.

For optimal performance with high bitrate 2.7K and 4K recording, use a high-speed U3 or V30 rated microSD card from a reputable brand. The camera supports cards up to 256GB capacity. Format the card in the camera before first use to ensure file system compatibility and avoid recording errors or dropped frames during flight.
