Description

The Arducam 5MP OV5647 NoIR MINI Camera Module is engineered for space-constrained Raspberry Pi Zero and Compute Module projects requiring reliable image capture. Its 1/4-inch OV5647 sensor interfaces directly with the BCM2835 processor via the dedicated Camera Serial Interface (CSI) bus, ensuring minimal latency and high-bandwidth data transfer for pixel data over the included flex ribbon cable.

This module features a fixed-focus lens system with a wide 72.4° diagonal field of view, making it suitable for general-purpose imaging where manual focus adjustment is not required. The NoIR (No Infrared Filter) design allows the sensor to capture visible light spectra, which can be advantageous in specific machine vision or surveillance contexts.
