The Arducam B0353 camera module integrates a 2.3-megapixel AR0234 CMOS sensor with a true global shutter, making it ideal for applications where motion artifacts from a rolling shutter are unacceptable. It delivers full HD resolution at 60 frames per second, capturing crisp, color-accurate images of fast-moving subjects in machine vision, drones, and industrial automation.
This module is built on Arducam’s Pivariety platform, which bypasses the limitations of closed-source Raspberry Pi camera drivers. It provides direct access to the Pi’s Image Signal Processor (ISP), enabling professional-grade tuning of auto-exposure, auto-white-balance, auto-gain control, and lens shading correction through standard libcamera tools and GStreamer pipelines.
