Description
The Tang Nano 20K is a high-performance development board engineered around the GW2AR-18 QN88 FPGA chip, offering substantial capabilities for a wide array of digital logic designs. Its core features include 20,736 LUT4 logic cells and 15,552 Flip-Flops, creating a versatile foundation for complex FPGA-driven projects. The integrated FPGA also boasts two PLLs and multiple DSP units capable of 18-bit x 18-bit multiplication, significantly enhancing its processing power for demanding algorithms and computations in applications like image processing or signal analysis.
For seamless development, the Tang Nano 20K incorporates an onboard BL616 chip, which facilitates the straightforward downloading of bitstreams directly into the FPGA. Beyond programming, the BL616 functions as a USB-to-serial converter, ensuring reliable UART communication between the FPGA and a host computer. The board achieves stable and efficient operation through a 27MHz crystal, primarily for HDMI display clocking, and an onboard MS5351 clock generator that provides additional customizable clock signals. This comprehensive design makes the Tang Nano 20K an excellent choice for educational, prototyping, and production-level FPGA-based systems.
