The XKC-Y25 NPN is an intelligent non-contact liquid level sensor designed for detecting water and other liquids through non-metallic container walls. Operating on a 5-12V DC supply, its NPN open-collector output is compatible with PLCs, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and industrial control systems for automated level monitoring.

The XKC-Y25 sensor utilizes advanced signal processing technology to detect liquid levels through capacitive or ultrasonic sensing principles, without requiring physical contact with the liquid medium. This design prevents contamination, scaling, and corrosion, making it ideal for sterile or aggressive chemical applications. Its performance is unaffected by the thickness of non-metallic container walls up to 20mm.
Engineered for high stability and strong anti-electromagnetic interference, the sensor provides a reliable digital switching signal via its NPN output. It is designed for easy installation under or on the side of containers, eliminating the need for drilling or complex integration, and operates across an ambient temperature range of 0 to 100°C.
