The ME3-CO sensor operates on a proven electrochemical fuel cell principle. Target gas molecules undergo an oxidation reaction at the working electrode within the sealed electrolytic cell, generating a current proportional to the gas concentration as per Faraday’s law. This analog current output provides a direct and linear measurement of ambient CO levels.
Engineered for reliability, the sensor features a 10Ω load resistance and demonstrates strong anti-interference characteristics, ensuring stable readings in complex industrial atmospheres. Its construction is optimized for long-term deployment in environmental protection and industrial safety systems, with specified storage conditions of -20°C to 50°C and 15-90% RH.
