Description
This compact development board combines the processing power of the Raspberry Pi RP2040 with a dedicated grayscale imaging pipeline. The HM01B0 camera sensor provides a low-power, monochrome vision input suitable for edge AI tasks like object detection, presence sensing, or simple machine learning inference when paired with the RP2040’s accelerated floating-point libraries.
The integrated 1.14-inch IPS LCD serves as a local display for live camera feed, debugging information, or user interface elements, eliminating the need for external monitors. With 16MB of onboard flash and 264KB of SRAM, the board offers ample space for firmware and frame buffer storage. Its 13 GPIO pins and unique PIO blocks allow developers to interface with additional sensors, actuators, or communication modules without taxing the main CPU cores.
