The Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-1.46 is a feature-rich AIoT development platform centered around a high-resolution round touch display. It leverages the Espressif ESP32-S3R8 SoC, combining a dual-core LX7 processor running at up to 240MHz with robust 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 radios. This integration provides the necessary processing power and wireless connectivity for developing interactive human-machine interfaces (HMIs), wearable tech, and embedded control systems.
The board’s 1.46-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen, interfaced via QSPI and I2C, offers sharp 412×412 pixel resolution suitable for fluid graphical interfaces using frameworks like LVGL. Substantial memory resources—16MB of flash and 8MB of PSRAM—support complex graphics rendering, multitasking, and data logging.
