Description
This Waveshare development board is engineered as a comprehensive AIoT platform, centered on the Espressif ESP32-P4 microcontroller. The ESP32-P4 features dual high-performance RISC-V cores alongside a low-power core, delivering substantial processing headroom for embedded vision, audio processing, and complex user interfaces. The integrated ESP32-C6-MINI module offloads all wireless communication, providing efficient Wi-Fi 6 and BLE 5.0 management.
The board’s 5-inch high-resolution IPS touchscreen serves as the primary human-machine interface, supported by dedicated image signal processing and a pixel processing accelerator. Power can be supplied via the USB Type-C port or an onboard 3.7V Li-ion battery header, making it suitable for portable and stationary applications. The extensive I/O set, including MIPI interfaces, SDIO, and a 40-pin header compatible with select Raspberry Pi HATs, offers exceptional flexibility for peripheral integration and system expansion.
