Description
The Adafruit QT Py CH32V203 is a compact yet powerful development board built around the CH32V203 microcontroller. This MCU leverages an efficient 32-bit RISC-V architecture, an open-standard CPU design, offering a core clock speed of up to 144 MHz for demanding embedded applications. Its QT Py form factor ensures a small footprint, making it suitable for space-constrained projects.
This board provides essential memory resources, including 10KB of SRAM for dynamic data handling and 32KB of single-cycle Flash memory for high-speed program execution. An additional 224KB of external XIP (eXecute In Place) Flash is available, expanding storage for larger applications or data logs, though with slightly slower access. Peripheral support is robust, featuring GPIOs, timers, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
Connectivity is streamlined with a USB Type-C port for both power delivery and data communication. A standout feature is the integrated STEMMA QT connector, which simplifies I2C peripheral integration, allowing for quick and solderless connection of compatible sensors, displays, and other modules, greatly accelerating prototyping workflows.
