Description
The Sipeed MAix BiT is an AIoT development board engineered for edge AI applications, powered by the Kendryte K210 RISC-V system-on-chip. Its integrated KPU (Neural Network Processor) delivers 0.25 TOPS at 0.3W, enabling real-time object detection and image classification directly on-device without cloud dependency. The board’s compact, breadboard-compatible layout provides full access to the chip’s 48 programmable GPIOs via a 2×20 pin header, facilitating direct sensor and peripheral integration.
Hardware features include a dedicated DVP camera interface supporting standard M12 lenses and FPC cameras, an 8-bit MCU LCD connector for local display output, and a microSD card slot for data logging or model storage. The onboard CH340 USB-to-UART bridge and auto-download circuit simplify firmware deployment using the Sipeed MaixPy MicroPython environment or C/C++ SDKs. With adjustable core voltage and support for overclocking, developers can fine-tune the balance between inference speed and power consumption for battery-powered IoT vision nodes.
