The Seeed Studio Studio XIAO nRF54LM20A Sense is a compact, ultra-low-power wireless development board built around Nordic Semiconductor’s advanced nRF54LM20A SoC. This powerful module integrates a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor alongside a 128 MHz RISC-V coprocessor, complemented by 512 KB of RAM, 2 MB of Non-Volatile Memory (NVM), and an additional 8 MB of external flash storage for ample program and data capacity.
The “Sense” version specifically enhances its capabilities with an onboard 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and a PDM digital microphone, enabling sophisticated motion, gesture, and audio sensing applications directly on the board. Its wireless stack is highly versatile, offering support for Bluetooth LE 6.0 with advanced Channel Sounding, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, Matter, NFC, and various proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols. Power management is handled by an nPM1300 PMIC, accommodating both USB Type-C 5V and 3.7V battery inputs, making it an excellent choice for wearables, smart sensors, TinyML, edge AI, and other demanding low-power IoT solutions.
