The CLJ-C30-10ANB operates on the electromagnetic induction principle, generating an oscillating field from its sensing face. When a conductive (primarily ferrous) metal object enters this field, it induces eddy currents that dampen the oscillation, triggering a change in the sensor’s internal circuit and switching its NPN output state. This solid-state design provides a fast response time and high repeatability for precise position detection.
Constructed for industrial environments, the sensor features a durable housing and built-in protection against wiring errors and output short circuits.
