The AS7262 sensor utilizes advanced nano-optic deposited interference filter technology integrated directly into CMOS silicon, creating six Gaussian optical filters with a full-width half-max (FWHM) of 40nm across the 430nm to 670nm visible spectrum. This design enables cost-effective, highly integrated spectral identification without external optical components.
The breakout module provides a built-in aperture to control incident light and includes on-board illumination LEDs. It is designed for robust operation from -40°C to +85°C, supporting applications requiring stable performance in varying environmental conditions. The electronic shutter functionality via programmable current drivers allows for precise measurement control in different lighting scenarios.
