The RP2350A features a hybrid architecture with dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores and dual RISC-V Hazard3 cores. This combination allows for versatile application development, leveraging the strengths of both architectures for different computational tasks, improving overall efficiency and performance in complex embedded scenarios.

The RP2350A includes 520KB of RAM for dynamic data processing and 8KB of One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory for secure, immutable data storage. Additionally, it supports 2MB (16Mbit) of integrated flash memory for program code, providing ample space for operating systems and application firmware.

Arm TrustZone provides a hardware-enforced security environment by creating secure and non-secure execution worlds. This isolation protects sensitive code and data from malicious attacks or faults in the non-secure environment. It's crucial for applications requiring secure boot, trusted execution, and protected data storage, such as in IoT security.

The Programmable I/O (PIO) core in the RP2350A allows developers to implement custom peripheral interfaces directly in hardware. This offloads timing-critical operations from the main CPU, enabling highly specific and efficient communication protocols or hardware accelerators. It provides flexibility beyond standard peripherals for unique interfacing needs.

As a successor to the RP2040, the RP2350A is expected to support similar development environments and toolchains.
