Description
The NICEMCU BW16 Development Board is engineered around the Realtek RTL8720DN system-on-chip, delivering concurrent dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connectivity in a compact, breadboard-friendly form factor. Its ARM Cortex-M4F and Cortex-M0 dual-core architecture balances application processing and real-time control tasks, supported by 512KB of SRAM and 4MB of onboard flash memory for firmware and data storage.
Power management is designed for typical IoT use cases, operating from a 5V supply with a recommended current capacity of 500mA or more. The board provides a comprehensive set of hardware interfaces including multiple GPIOs, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, and ADC channels, enabling direct connection to a wide array of sensors, displays, and actuators. The inclusion of both a PCB trace antenna and a pre-soldered IPEX connector allows developers to choose the optimal RF configuration for range and enclosure design.
