Description

The MINI USB Host Shield 2.0 ADK is meticulously designed for straightforward integration with 3.3V Arduino Pro Mini boards, particularly the SparkFun 3.3V Arduino Pro Mini. Its compact form factor also allows it to serve as a versatile MAX3421E breakout board. This shield is fully compatible with and supported by the widely used USB Host Shield Library, making it simple to add USB host capabilities to your Arduino projects. Note that the Arduino Pro Mini itself is not included.

This shield significantly expands your Arduino’s capabilities, enabling it to communicate effortlessly with a wide array of USB slave devices, including standard USB keyboards, mice, U-disks, and cameras. Furthermore, it supports the implementation of Google’s Android ADK (Accessory Development Kit), allowing your Arduino to interact with compatible Android smartphones such as the G1, Nexus One, Nexus S, and Motorola Droid X (requiring Android 2.3.4 or higher).
