The Keyestudio Analog Temperature Sensor utilizes a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor as its sensing element. Changes in ambient temperature cause a predictable change in the thermistor’s resistance, which the module converts into a corresponding analog voltage signal. This signal is output via a standard 3-pin interface (VCC, GND, Signal) for direct connection to an Arduino’s analog input pin.
The module is designed for robust operation across a broad temperature spectrum, from -55°C to 315°C, making it suitable for both general-purpose and more demanding monitoring scenarios. Its simple analog output eliminates the need for complex communication protocols, allowing for rapid prototyping and integration into a wide array of microcontroller-based systems, including Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi (with an ADC).
