The JDY-29 Transparent BLE Module implements a streamlined Bluetooth Low Energy 5.2 stack, providing a dedicated serial port profile for wireless data bridging. Its core function is to replace a physical UART cable, enabling bi-directional, low-latency communication between a microcontroller’s serial pins and a smartphone, tablet, or central gateway. The module handles the entire Bluetooth protocol, allowing developers to focus on application logic without deep RF expertise.
Engineered for reliable operation, the module uses GFSK modulation on the 2.4GHz ISM band and integrates a built-on PCB antenna. Its low-power architecture supports typical IoT use cases, from periodic sensor telemetry to constant command-and-control streams.
