The FST700-101 operates on the hydrostatic pressure principle, where the sensed pressure is proportional to the height of the liquid column above the sensor’s diaphragm. This pressure is converted into a precise 4-20mA analog current signal, providing excellent noise immunity over long cable runs typical in industrial installations.
Its fully sealed 316L stainless steel housing and IP68 rating ensure reliable operation when fully submerged in a wide variety of liquids, including water, mild chemicals, and wastewater. The integrated 3-meter cable simplifies installation directly into process vessels.
