Description

The DFRobot Self-powered Wireless Switch is an innovative RF transmitter module designed for permanent, maintenance-free installation. It operates on the 433MHz ISM band and utilizes a micro-generator based on electromagnetic induction to harvest kinetic energy from each button press. This energy is rectified and stored to power the onboard RF circuit, which transmits a signal encoded in the EV1527 format at a 10kbps data rate using OOK modulation.

Engineered for long-term reliability, the switch features configurable addressing via a DIP switch and is built to withstand up to 100,000 actuations. Its battery-less design makes it exceptionally suitable for applications where regular maintenance is impractical or where environmental conditions could degrade conventional power sources. The RF signal offers strong penetration through obstacles, providing stable wireless control over distances up to 40 meters indoors when paired with a compatible EV1527 decoder receiver.
