Description

The Arducam 8MP IMX219 Camera Module is engineered for developers requiring wide-angle vision in embedded systems. Its core is a 1/4-inch Sony IMX219 sensor, which outputs RAW8/RAW10 data through a high-speed MIPI CSI-2 interface, compatible with 2-lane or 4-lane configurations. The module is primarily targeted at the NVIDIA Jetson Nano ecosystem but is also compatible with Raspberry Pi Compute Modules (CM3/CM3+), offering a versatile solution for ARM-based platforms.

Its defining feature is the integrated M12-mount fisheye lens with a 220-degree horizontal field of view and a fixed focal length of 0.76mm. This extreme wide-angle perspective is suited for applications where maximizing situational awareness in a single frame is critical. The module includes an integral IR filter, making it sensitive only to visible light, and comes with a 15cm FPC cable for flexible mounting. Note that it is not compatible with standard Raspberry Pi models (3/4).
