Description
The Arducam 12MP 477P Mini Camera Module is a compact, high-performance imaging solution designed as a drop-in upgrade for the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. It leverages a 12.3-megapixel sensor with a 1/2.3″ optical format and 1.55µm pixels to deliver superior image detail over standard 8MP modules, while maintaining full electrical and software compatibility with the official Raspberry Pi camera driver stack.
Its mechanical footprint is identical to the Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2, allowing for seamless integration into existing enclosures and mounts without hardware modification. The module features a standard M12 lens mount, providing developers and integrators the flexibility to swap lenses for specific focal lengths and fields of view, catering to applications from wide-angle surveillance to telephoto inspection.
Power-efficient and lightweight, this camera is engineered for embedded vision applications where size, weight, and processing power are constrained, such as onboard drone navigation, robotic perception, and portable diagnostic devices. The included 15-pin to 22-pin FPC cables ensure connectivity across the full range of Raspberry Pi models, from the Pi Zero 2 W to the Pi 5.
