Hi-Link HLK-LD2410B-P Human Presence Detection Sensor Module - 24GHz FMCW Radar, GPIO/UART
The Hi-Link HLK-LD2410B-P is a 24GHz FMCW radar module for high-sensitivity human presence detection, compatible with 5V logic systems like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It detects both moving and stationary human targets up to 5 meters with a ±60° coverage angle, outputting data via GPIO and UART interfaces.
Features
- 24GHz FMCW radar technology for detecting moving and stationary human presence.
- Detection range up to 5 meters with a resolution of 0.75 meters.
- Wide ±60° horizontal coverage angle for broad area monitoring.
- Dual output interfaces: GPIO for simple triggers and UART for detailed data communication.
- Configurable via Bluetooth or UART using a visual PC tool for sensitivity, range zones, and delay settings.

The HLK-LD2410B-P module utilizes Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar operating in the 24GHz ISM band. This technology allows it to distinguish between moving and micro-moving (stationary) human targets by analyzing the phase and frequency shift of the reflected signal. Advanced signal processing and proprietary algorithms enable high-sensitivity detection while filtering out environmental noise.
The module is designed for seamless integration into smart systems, providing real-time target distance and motion status data. Its compact form factor (approx. 35mm x 7mm) and support for various mounting methods (ceiling, wall) make it suitable for embedded installation. Operating on a 5V DC supply, it is directly compatible with common microcontrollers and single-board computers.
