The GY-SHT45 module integrates the Sensirion SHT45 sensor, a MEMS-based digital sensor renowned for its high accuracy and long-term stability in measuring ambient temperature and relative humidity. The sensor utilizes a capacitive polymer sensing element for humidity and a band-gap sensor for temperature, both factory-calibrated and delivered via a digital 16-bit output.
Designed for low power consumption, the module operates efficiently across a broad voltage range, making it ideal for portable and battery-powered environmental monitoring systems. The onboard circuitry includes pull-up/pull-down resistors for the I2C bus and configurable pins for address selection (ADR), hardware reset (RST), and alert output (ALR), simplifying integration into microcontroller-based projects and industrial automation networks.
