Description
This development board serves as a dedicated sensor node, combining the processing and wireless capabilities of the popular ESP8266 (via an external ESP-01/ESP-01S module) with a local DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor. It is engineered for low-power, remote monitoring applications where environmental data needs to be collected and transmitted to a cloud server or local network via Wi-Fi.
The board features a straightforward power design accepting a wide 3.7V to 12V DC input, making it compatible with single-cell Li-ion batteries or standard wall adapters. The integrated 2.54mm pin headers provide easy access to the ESP-01S module’s UART, GPIO, and power pins for programming and expansion, while the onboard DHT11 sensor offers a simple digital interface for reliable environmental readings.
