The module is built around the LTR390-UV-01 sensor, a digital UV and ambient light sensor (ALS) with a spectral response from 280nm to 430nm. It converts light intensity directly into digital data via its internal ADC, communicating through a fixed I2C address (0x53). This design eliminates the need for external signal conditioning and provides stable, noise-resistant readings.
Engineered for reliable operation, the board includes a level conversion circuit, making it plug-and-play ready for a wide range of development boards and industrial controllers. Its small form factor and standard mounting holes allow for straightforward installation in portable devices, environmental monitoring stations, or embedded systems requiring UV exposure data.
