The BH1750FVI-TR is a digital light intensity sensor IC that converts ambient light levels into a 16-bit digital value via a standard I2C bus. It employs a single-chip photodiode and a high-precision analog-to-digital converter, eliminating the need for external signal conditioning. Its spectral response is optimized to match the human eye’s sensitivity, ensuring accurate lux readings for display management.
Operating from a 2.4V to 3.6V supply, this sensor is designed for low-voltage embedded systems and features a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C for reliable performance in diverse environmental conditions. The integrated digital output provides excellent noise immunity compared to analog sensors.
