The Keyestudio module utilizes a mechanical tilt ball switch to detect changes in orientation. When the module is tilted beyond a specific angle, the internal switch closes, pulling the digital output pin low (or high, depending on configuration). This provides a straightforward, non-quantitative indication of tilt or motion.
Designed for ease of integration, the module includes a built-in signal conditioning circuit and a pull-up resistor, outputting a clean digital signal compatible with microcontroller GPIO pins. Its low power draw and compact form factor make it suitable for embedded systems, educational robotics, and simple interactive installations where precise angle measurement is not required.
