This module utilizes a Hall-effect integrated circuit to convert magnetic flux density into a digital voltage signal. The internal circuitry includes a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, differential amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and temperature compensation, ensuring stable performance across its operating range. The primary digital output switches to a low logic level when a magnetic field exceeding the set threshold is detected.
The analog output (A OUT) provides a voltage proportional to the magnetic field strength, enabling more nuanced measurements. The on-board LM393 voltage comparator is responsible for the clean digital switching action. The module is designed for easy integration into prototypes and systems requiring non-contact magnetic sensing.
