The BM612 Digital PIR Sensor utilizes a dual-element pyroelectric sensor with differential high-impedance input to detect changes in infrared radiation caused by moving bodies. Its integrated digital signal processor (DSP) analyzes the sensor signal, applying filtering algorithms to reject common sources of electrical and RF interference, ensuring high false-alarm immunity.
This module is a complete detector solution with all conditioning circuitry housed onboard. It operates from a 3.3V DC supply and features a configurable output duration, making it suitable for battery-powered or energy-conscious applications like smart lighting, occupancy sensing, and security systems.
