The TLC2103-WL employs an ultrasonic time-of-flight principle to measure liquid level without physical contact, making it suitable for clean water, chemicals, and other non-foaming liquids. The sensor transmits a high-frequency sound pulse and calculates distance based on the echo return time, providing reliable and maintenance-free operation with no moving parts.
The system consists of a remote, waterproof sensor unit and a separate LCD display/controller. They communicate via a robust RF433MHz link, eliminating the need for wired connections through tank walls. The controller unit features a built-in relay that automatically activates or deactivates a connected water pump when the level reaches user-configured minimum or maximum setpoints, enabling fully automated tank filling or draining cycles.
