The E2E-X10ME1 utilizes an electromagnetic field to detect the presence of ferrous metal objects without physical contact. Its unshielded (non-flush) M18 design allows for a standard 10 mm sensing distance, making it suitable for mounting near other metal surfaces. The sensor incorporates self-diagnostic functions that monitor internal stability and output a signal in case of failure, supporting predictive maintenance strategies.
Engineered for challenging conditions, it features an oil-resistant polyurethane (PUR) cable and an operational temperature range extending down to -40°C. The OrangeRX detection head provides visual differentiation from standard models. Its NPN open-collector output simplifies interfacing with a wide array of industrial controllers.
