Generic HR 202 Humidity Detection Sensor Module - Digital Output, Adjustable Sensitivity
The Generic HR 202 Humidity Detection Sensor Module provides a digital (DO) output for ambient humidity monitoring, compatible with 3.3V or 5V microcontroller systems like Arduino and Raspberry Pi. It features an adjustable sensitivity potentiometer and a stable LM393 comparator circuit for reliable threshold-based detection.
Features
- Digital Output (DO) for direct microcontroller interface (0V/5V logic).
- Adjustable sensitivity via on-board potentiometer for custom humidity threshold setting.
- Powered by stable LM393 comparator chip with 15mA operating current.
- Wide operating humidity range from 20% to 95% RH.
- Compact PCB design with 3mm mounting holes for easy installation.

This module integrates the HR202 humidity-sensitive resistor with a precision LM393 voltage comparator to create a digital switch output based on ambient humidity levels. The HR202 element changes resistance with relative humidity, and the comparator triggers a high or low digital signal when the sensed humidity crosses a user-defined threshold set by the potentiometer.
Designed for 3.3V to 5V DC systems, the module includes power and output status LEDs. The digital output can directly drive microcontroller I/O pins or, with sufficient current, interface with relay modules to form a humidity-controlled switch. The analog output (AO) pin provides a variable voltage corresponding to humidity for more precise measurement via an ADC.
