Winsen ME4-H2 Hydrogen Gas Sensor Module - 0-1000ppm Electrochemical
The Winsen ME4-H2 is an electrochemical hydrogen gas sensor module designed for industrial and environmental monitoring applications. It provides a linear current output proportional to H2 concentration from 0 to 1000ppm, with a resolution of 1ppm and a T90 response time of ≤30 seconds.
Features
- Electrochemical sensing principle for hydrogen (H2) detection with high selectivity.
- Measurement range of 0 to 1000ppm H2 with a maximum range of 2000ppm.
- Sensitivity of (0.03±0.01) µA/ppm, providing a linear current output signal.
- Fast response time (T90) of ≤30 seconds and a resolution of 1ppm.
- Designed for industrial environments with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C.

The Winsen ME4-H2 hydrogen gas sensor employs a constant potential electrolysis (electrochemical) working principle. Oxidation and reduction reactions occur at the working and counter electrodes, respectively, generating a current directly proportional to the concentration of hydrogen gas present. This current signal is measured to determine the precise gas concentration.
Engineered for reliability in demanding conditions, the sensor features excellent repeatability (<2% output value) and long-term stability (<2% per month). It operates effectively across a broad humidity range of 15% to 90% RH (non-condensing) and at standard atmospheric pressure ±10%. The module is designed for easy integration into industrial safety systems, environmental monitoring stations, and research setups requiring accurate H2 level detection.
