The ME3-NH3 sensor operates on a proven electrochemical principle. Target gas molecules diffuse into the sensor’s electrolytic cell and undergo an oxidation reaction at the working electrode. The resulting current is directly proportional to the gas concentration, following Faraday’s law, enabling accurate ppm-level measurement.
Engineered for reliability, the sensor features a 10Ω load resistance and maintains output linearity across its specified range. It is designed to operate within standard atmospheric pressures (90-110 kPa) and offers good anti-interference capability against common cross-sensitive gases, ensuring dependable performance in mixed-gas environments.
