The Winsen MED-O2-LA is an electrochemical oxygen sensor utilizing a fuel-cell design. Oxygen undergoes a reduction reaction at the working electrode, while an oxidation reaction at the anode releases charge, generating a current. This current is directly proportional to the partial pressure of oxygen, adhering to Faraday’s law, allowing for accurate O2 concentration measurement through current monitoring.
Engineered for reliability, the sensor features a wide linear range, low consumption, and robust repeatability. Its specified pressure range and fast response time (T90 < 15 seconds) make it suitable for dynamic environments. The standardized electrical interface ensures compatibility with a variety of signal conditioning and data acquisition systems.
