The FS400A water flow sensor operates on a Hall-effect principle. Water flow drives a magnetic rotor assembly; as the rotor speed varies with flow rate, an integrated Hall sensor generates corresponding digital pulse signals. This pulse-frequency output provides a direct, linear relationship to volumetric flow, enabling precise measurement and control.
Engineered for durability in water applications, the sensor features a stainless steel bearing and ball assembly for smooth, low-friction rotation and enhanced sensitivity. The Hall element is epoxy-encapsulated and isolated from the water path, ensuring long-term reliability and protection against oxidation. The construction complies with ROHS standards, making it suitable for various residential and light industrial water monitoring systems.
