SEA YFS301 Water Flow Sensor Flowmeter 0.3-10L/Min - 9.5mm Ports, 15cm Wire
The SEA YFS301 is a Hall effect water flow sensor designed for 3.5-24V DC systems, providing a pulse output signal proportional to flow rates from 0.3 to 10 liters per minute. Its compact, sealed design with 9.5mm ports makes it suitable for integration into water control systems, appliances, and industrial monitoring applications.
Features
- Hall effect sensor outputs a pulse signal for each revolution of the internal impeller.
- Wide operating voltage range of 3.5-24V DC with low-pressure start capability.
- Flow measurement range from 0.3 to 10 liters per minute (L/min).
- Sealed sensor design isolates electronics from the water flow path.
- Compact form factor with 9.5mm input/output diameter and 15cm wire lead.

The YFS301 water flow sensor utilizes a Hall effect magnetic sensing principle. A multi-blade impeller, supported by a stainless steel shaft, rotates with the fluid flow. A magnet embedded in the impeller triggers the sealed Hall sensor with each revolution, generating a clean digital pulse output on the yellow signal wire. This design ensures the sensitive electronics remain isolated from the liquid medium.
Constructed with RoHS-compliant materials and featuring an integrated sealing ring, the sensor is built for reliable operation in residential and light industrial environments. It is rated for water pressures up to 0.8 MPa and can operate across a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C, making it suitable for hot and cold water lines, provided a filter is installed upstream to protect the impeller from debris.
