SEA YFS403 Water Flow Sensor Flowmeter G3/4 1-30L/Min - 3.5-24V DC Hall Effect
The SEA YFS403 is a Hall effect water flow sensor with a G3/4 thread, designed for flow rate measurement from 1 to 30 L/min. It operates on a wide 3.5-24V DC range and outputs a pulse signal compatible with microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and PLCs for flow monitoring and control.
Features
- Hall Effect Pulse Output for precise flow rate measurement.
- Wide Operating Voltage: 3.5V to 24V DC for flexible system integration.
- G3/4 Threaded Ports for standard plumbing and water line connections.
- Durable Construction with stainless steel impeller shaft and leak-resistant seal ring.
- Flow Range: 1 to 30 liters per minute (L/min) with a max pressure of 1.2 MPa.

The YFS403 water flow sensor utilizes a Hall effect sensing principle. As water flows through the valve, it spins a magnetic rotor. A Hall sensor detects each rotation, generating a corresponding pulse signal. The frequency of this pulse is directly proportional to the flow rate, allowing a controller to calculate volumetric flow.
Built for reliability in liquid systems, the sensor features a robust plastic body with a stainless steel impeller shaft and a dual-force seal ring structure designed to prevent leaks. It is suitable for use with water and other non-corrosive, non-aggressive liquids within its specified temperature and pressure limits.
