The MPM30-C6 employs an infrared scattering technique to detect and quantify airborne particulate matter. Its optical system and signal processing circuitry are engineered to provide stable concentration readings for particles ranging from 0.3 to 10 microns in diameter. The sensor outputs data via a configurable UART serial interface or a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, offering flexibility for different microcontroller platforms like Arduino, ESP32, or industrial PLCs.
Built for long-term environmental monitoring, the sensor features a durable housing and is rated for operation across a wide temperature and humidity span. Its specified accuracy of ±15 µg/m³ or ±15% of reading (whichever is greater) under standard conditions ensures reliable data for air quality assessment and pollution control initiatives.
