The Holybro Micro APM flight controller condenses the full functionality of the larger APM systems into a 35mm footprint, maintaining compatibility with the extensive ArduPilot ecosystem. Its design leverages the mature APM 2.7 hardware architecture, incorporating fixes and refinements from earlier variants for reliable autonomous operation.
Equipped with a comprehensive sensor suite including the MPU-6000 accelerometer/gyro, HMC5883L digital compass, and MS5611 barometric pressure sensor, it provides stable attitude and altitude hold. The onboard 4MB Dataflash chip enables automatic flight data logging for post-mission analysis. This controller is engineered to transform RC aircraft, multirotors, and even ground vehicles into fully autonomous platforms capable of executing complex GPS waypoint missions.
