The ESP32-WROOM-32D is a highly integrated wireless MCU module designed for a broad spectrum of IoT applications. It features Espressif’s dual-core Xtensa LX6 microprocessor, which provides the computational power needed for tasks ranging from simple sensor data collection to more demanding operations like audio processing and secure network communications. The module’s 16MB of flash memory offers significant space for firmware, web server files, and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities.
Its integrated 2.4GHz radio supports Wi-Fi in station, access point, and combined modes, alongside Bluetooth Classic and Low Energy (BLE) for short-range device pairing and control. The module operates from a 2.2V to 3.6V supply, enabling designs with single-cell LiPo batteries.
