Description
The ESP32-WROVER-B module is a highly integrated wireless MCU solution built around Espressif’s ESP32-D0WD chip. It combines a dual-core processor with 4MB of onboard flash memory and, critically, an additional 8MB of SPI Pseudo Static RAM (PSRAM). This integrated PSRAM is essential for handling memory-intensive tasks such as voice encoding, high-resolution display buffering, or complex algorithm processing without requiring external memory chips.
Engineered for optimal RF performance and power efficiency, the module integrates the antenna switch, RF balun, power amplifier, and low-noise amplifier. It delivers up to +19.5 dBm output power for extended Wi-Fi range and features a sensitive NZIF receiver with -97 dBm sensitivity. Its advanced power management includes fine-resolution clock gating and dynamic power scaling, enabling seamless transitions from high-performance operation to deep sleep modes suitable for always-on sensor nodes.
