The Heltec Automation Automation ESP32-S3 Wireless Shell (HTIT-Wsh) is a highly integrated wireless module designed for scalable IoT node deployment. It merges the computational power of Espressif’s ESP32-S3FN8 microcontroller with the long-range, low-power communication capabilities of the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver. This architecture enables developers to implement complex edge logic while maintaining reliable connectivity over several kilometers in sub-GHz ISM bands.
The module is built with RF shielding and robust circuit design to ensure stable performance in industrial environments, operating reliably from -40°C to 85°C. Its primary design goal is to serve as a turnkey wireless core for OEMs and system integrators, allowing for rapid solution verification and product deployment without the need for complex RF layout. The inclusion of separate IPEX sockets for both the 2.4GHz and LoRa antennas provides flexibility for optimizing range and placement in final assemblies.
